I live in a rural community north of Kamloops, British Columbia, where the quiet of the land and the changing seasons are part of my everyday life. That connection to nature continues to shape how I support others—simply, gently, and with care.
I am a Reiki practitioner, offering grounded, energy-based support to help reduce stress, restore balance, and encourage a sense of calm. My focus is on creating a space where people can slow down, settle their nervous system, and feel more at ease.
I am also studying practical herbalism, learning to work with plants in accessible, everyday ways. This is an evolving part of my practice, guided by respect for the land and a belief that support can often be found in simple, natural approaches.
I came into end-of-life work after several nudges, but it truly took shape after my dad passed away in 2018. His death made me realize how much more support could be available during that time. There were things I wish I had known—ways I could have helped him feel more comfortable, more prepared, and more at peace. That experience led me to train as an end-of-life doula, become a hospice patient volunteer, and join the End of Life Doula Association of Canada.
In this work, I offer steady, compassionate support to individuals and families—practically, emotionally, and with a calm presence. My goal is to help create space for a more supported, understood, and dignified experience at the end of life.
At the core of everything I do is a love of nature and a simple intention: to help people feel more grounded, supported, and able to meet where they are.
Warmly,
Heather
